Recipe Review: Ummah's Mujadarra

One of our favorite middle-eastern recipes as it brings back memories of a little Lebanese joint we used to frequent in Boston. I cannot confirm the exact cuisine as it is categorized under Turkish, Lebanese, Iranian and even Syrian on the Internet. It is extremely subtle on the palate and you can taste every ingredient that has gone into making it. Enjoy!

Recipe: Mujaddara at Ummah 

Review: The recipe is fairly easy to follow. We ended up using white onions instead of yellow and red masoor dal as the lentils with virtually no compromise in the taste. The serving suggestions in the recipe work great.
